Current Employee - Quality Assurance Coordinator says

"Employees and Management at the center level are all willing to work extremely hard and give their all but that same level of energy is not given by the owners of this company. Greed is the overall emphasis. The demands placed on these employees take them away from their families 7 days a week and the payout is minimal. Pay is not even close to median level for any position in the centers. They employees are threatened against getting overtime yet work with a skeleton crew which not only threatens the safety of the employees but severely threatens the safety and quality of the product they collect and most importantly the donor. Tired and miserable employees make mistakes. The burnout in these centers is unreal. People will take a pay cut to go somewhere else just to feel appreciated. All employees have worked through the Pandemic because Grifols has benefited from it...not the employee. This company has good people, they just need to be appreciated."

Current Employee - Manager says

"Not an inclusive environment ( lack of any focus in DEI), not progressive in culture or creating a people focused environment. Lack of communication or focus caring for employees with the racial and social injustice in the US and Covid."

Current Employee - Center Quality Manager says

"At no point do I feel confident in the ability of upper management to understand the needs of the facility. We cannot cut corners as it impedes donor and supply safety...yet we are asked to cut corners (but never overtly). Metrics are used, but not understood by divisional leadership, so therefore we are left to interpret it ourselves and then attempt to share that among the facility."

Current Employee - Donor Center Specialist says

"Poor management, work load not worth amount paid"

Former Employee - Cerified Phlebotomist says

"The girls are catty and feels intimidated by someone wanting to succeed within the company and by pretty much anything. Management has favorites and if you’re not kissing the girls behind then you’re out the door."

Former Employee - Dct says

"The employees that are in management's little cliques don't do anything. They're lazy, they're rude, and when they're forced to work, half the time they dont know how to do the job they were asked to do. When you have a legitimate issue with another employees, e.i someone harassing you constantly, you're told that 'well, I can't change people's personalities.' I wouldn't recommend this center to anyone."

Current Employee - Phlebotomist says

"you will be underpaid for what experience and time of job that you do, also the locations are very busy and they willing to start you at 13.80 even if you're certified. the employees are always rude to each other and too much drama."

Current Employee - Tech II says

"Politics, scare tactics, etc. Managers and supervisors get promoted for being friends or family of people that are higher up on the chain. Hard work and intelligence is rarely rewarded with promotions."

Former Employee - Processor says

"Extremely poor work life balance The worst schedule you could imagine Management is a joke and they can't control their emotions. They often lash out towards coworkers when they're stressed or in a bad mood. Promised a raise after 90 days and after 90 days i was told its no longer policy."

Former Employee - Lead Phlebotomist says

"Horrible culture bad management"

Screener (Former Employee) says

"Horrible management, horrible communication, everyone thinks they are in charge , horrible at giving breaks and lunches too much gossip amongst workers and favoritism the hard working ones get treated poorly and the butt kissers get all the credit all about how chummy you are with the management and such don’t bother working here you’ll become depressed! Don’t work too hard or they’ll expect it and not appreciate it Clocking outEverything"

Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant (Former Employee) says

"When the company changed from KED to Grifols they ending up treating patients like it's a production line instead of people lying there on the bed giving their time and Plasma. The new manager doesnt care about the employees or the patients . Worried more about everyone knowing who's in charge. Not a good working environment."

Plasma Processor (Current Employee) says

"Awful place to work. Managers don't care about staff only about donors. Get told that work comes first when trying to request days off or for school. They say it's a family here, but will turn their back on you. They will write you up for every little thing you do. Lost over half the staff due to poor management. Severely understaffed and way over worked. This job isn't worth the stress or pay. I suggest looking elsewhere for a place to work or even donate. Everything"

Plasma Processor/designated Trainer/Machine technician (Former Employee) says

"Terrible management within the company overall. They do not care about concerns or even harassment you may experience through other members of management. This place sucks the life out of you no matter what position you’ve “earned”. You do help to save lives and that would probably be the only thing that keeps you going every day. You’re helping to save livesTerrible company overall"

Phlebotomist (Current Employee) says

"If you want to be snitched on, by all means then work here, otherwise go somewhere else!!! The company as a hole does not care about you one bit. Every one is only out for themselves!Really no pro!No advancement unless you are a suck up."

Phlebotomist (Former Employee) says

"I do not recommend ANYONE working here. Unless, that is, you are looking for something where the company, managers, COWORKERS, patients, etc. are 100%NoneEverything"

Biomedical technician (Current Employee) says

"Managers do not help you, you have to work 6 days a week, raises do not help (1 to 8 cents) your not acknowledged as a worker more like a slave on a plantation... its 2020 and people are not staying at this employer cause they do not care about you as a person it's just what they can get out of you!!!!NoneMicromanagement is all time high"

Phlebotomist/Designated Trainer (Current Employee) says

"The entry staff members are under unneccessary stress due to the management "team" unwillingness to step in and work side by side with frontline staff member's for more than 5 minutes. The managers office is usually closed so they can have their privacy while stuffing themselves with fast food take out and strolling down their timelines on social media. No come up without butt kissingExtra 5 on any donation for being a staff memberOnes who butt kiss get promoted but those with credentials get over looked."

Screener (Former Employee) says

"I came to work everyday that I was scheduled only to be treated like I was a piece of dirt and talked to by the management at Grifols the management is terrible I don’t and want recommend anyone to work there it would be a great place to work but with different managementDonorsManagement"

"Terrible place to work . Very unprofessional and they don’t care about their employees . Managers are rude to their employees, and allow harassment from donors in order to get more money . Horrible culture, always drama. They micro manage and scheduling is terrible ."

Phlebotomist Technician (Former Employee) says

"Terrible company to work for. Terrible management and employee culture. All they care about is the numbers. They care less about employees. The clients and just a number as well.NothingEverything"

Quality Supervisor I (Former Employee) says

"They work you to death and don't pay very well. They blame you for everything that goes wrong, even when it's not your fault. They dock your bonuses for no reason"

Phlebotomist (Former Employee) says

"The three months I worked there was horrible! Most of the Staff hated me because I was the youngest the managers did not want to allow me to go back to school only their favorites could go back! I had to lie all the time to get off days because when I did tell the truth my off days got denied.! Would not recommend go some where else!"

Manufacturing Technician 1 (Former Employee) says

"Job is tough no doubt. Be ready to work graveyard shift as a new hire. Management looks out for themselves and throw others under the bus, especially in frac. Lot of cleaning involved with unrealistic expectations so many techs cut corners. If mgmt doesn't like you, they'll find some reason to get rid of you despite others doing the same. Advancement is non-existent. Promotions only go to friends and family. High turnover due to stress."

Phlebotomist (Former Employee) says

"Management has poor communication skills. Rarely helps floor staff. Upper management promotes their friends instead of making the right decision and promoting employees with Good work habits. no room for advancement unless your friends with management. I would never recommend this job."

Plasma Processor (Former Employee) says

"the job is decent, some people have worked there for years, theres a high turnover rate managment seams to not understand why. managment is a huge issue here they dont care about their employees."

senior tech phlebotomist (Former Employee) says

"It was a terrible job with poor management this resulting in a high turn over rate there was always corners cut and it felt like a assembly line rather then a medical plasma facility"

Center Medical Specialist (Former Employee) says

"This place was a horrible place to work where management nit picked about trivial things and neglected major issues. It was a hostile environment where personalities ran amuck."

Medical (Former Employee) says

"This company is no longer what they claim to be. The management is terrible and they treat staff with a threatening and abusive manner despite multiple complaints to HR. They have falsified time cards and accused staff of lying about time worked. The communication is non existent and they will take advantage of your work ethics until you either have a mental breakdown, quit or both"

Screener (Former Employee) says
